Pictures are inappropriate for this site if they are not pictures of art that all the family can view. so be sensible and don't spoil it for others. All pictures should be in .jpg format and no more than 40k in file size. Ideally images should be no more than 350 pixels wide. Are the ratings accurate? Mostly yes. We have made it where multiple votes do not count from the same IP address. In order to register a vote on the same photo, you must first disconnect from the internet and log back on. We are sure some people may do this, but for most of us, it is to much trouble and only vote on the same picture once or twice a day at most. How do I check my pic's stats? Once your picture has been validated by a moderator (usually within 24 hours of submitting it) you can use the link entitled "Member Login" to login with your User Name and Password you signed up with and check the results of your photo contribution. Can I change my online User Name? No. All your information (profile, rating, messages) are linked via your online User Name. Therefore, the only way to change your name would be to delete your unwanted account, and then recreate a new one under the desired online name. Can i link to my site? Why was my picture rejected? Either it doesn't meet the criteria of our Standards or didn't seem appropriate to us for another reason. If it simply isn't loading, you should try going to your direct link, HIT REFRESH/RELOAD, and verify that you can see your picture. Sometimes clearing your browser's cache is necessary. Also, some sites block other sites from showing images hosted on their servers. If you're convinced your picture should have made it through, you can try resubmitting it once again.
